In this course, students will build, program and command their own robots using Legos. Using bricks, motors, and sensors, students can choose from a multitude of robot templates, or create their own! Students work with either NXT or EV3 Lego Robotics kits, learning how to bring their robot to life for various tasks.
One of ITEC’s “flagship” courses, Lego Robotics promotes an interactive environment with obvious engagement in STEM related concepts. Lego Robotics not only introduces basic programming and mathematical skills, but also teaches collaboration and communication skills, both of which are sought after 21st century working skills. In this course, students demonstrate an increase in spatial recognition skills and an increase in their knowledge of the many uses of robots in the real world.
